Terms of service
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for considering The Pressed Bunch to preserve your special flowers. Please read the below details carefully prior to confirming your booking.
SUITABILITY OF FLOWERS: Though many flowers can be pressed successfully, some unfortunately are not suitable for pressing, depending on the flower type or condition. Your frame/s may not feature all flowers provided - only flowers in the best condition will be used, and selection is at the discretion of The Pressed Bunch. Unused flowers will not be returned. The Pressed Bunch cannot guarantee inclusion of specific flowers. Flower care instructions will be provided in the weeks leading up to your event. It is important these are followed to ensure your flowers are in the best condition possible before pressing.
If, upon receiving your flowers, they are deemed in too poor condition to press or unusable (e.g. due to visible pests or mould), The Pressed Bunch may decline to proceed. The Pressed Bunch is not responsible for the condition your flowers arrive in. As organic materials, flowers may contain or develop contaminants that are not visible at the time The Pressed Bunch receives them, including mould and pests. These factors are an inherent risk when working with botanical materials and may occur despite best practice. The Pressed Bunch is not responsible for natural contamination that arises as part of this process.
COLOUR CHANGES, VARIATION AND LONG-TERM APPEARANCE: All real flowers undergo colour changes during the drying and pressing process. For example, whites may become cream, yellow, or light brown; some pinks may lighten or shift to purple; and reds may deepen to magenta or purple. Artificially coloured or treated flowers may shift unpredictably. All preserved flowers will fade over time, and the rate of fading varies widely depending on the flower type and environmental factors. The Pressed Bunch cannot predict or guarantee how long your flowers will retain their colour. As flowers are natural materials, variations in shape, size, colour, and texture are expected. Long‑term preservation is not guaranteed, as botanical materials naturally age over time. Small imperfections, bruising, or translucency may appear during pressing. These characteristics are not considered faults. Small floral pieces may move over the years. Colour correction is not provided as a standard service; however, The Pressed Bunch may apply minimal, subtle adjustments at its discretion. To prolong the appearance of your flowers, keep your frame away from humidity, heat, and direct sunlight.
FEES, PAYMENT AND STORAGE: Your frame price will be confirmed during the enquiry process. A non-refundable $200 deposit is required to secure your booking, and payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Your finished order may be collected from The Pressed Bunch in Success 6164, on an agreed day and time, or express posted to you via Australia Post for a fee of $50. Collection in person is strongly recommended. You will be contacted via email once your frame is complete, with a final invoice. Your final invoice will reflect the cost of the frame/s, plus any applicable delivery fees, minus your deposit. This is due within fourteen (14) days, or prior to collection, whichever comes first. Orders not collected or paid for within 30 days of completion may incur storage fees. After 90 days, the order may be disposed of to recover costs and no refund will be provided. Ownership of the artwork remains with The Pressed Bunch until full payment is received.
DESIGN PROCESS: Your overall design preference, such as a full arrangement or diagonal/trailing composition, will be discussed upon booking. You will not see the final layout until the artwork is complete. Redesigns or layout changes are not available once the artwork is complete. By booking with The Pressed Bunch, you agree to trust the artist’s professional judgement, creative direction, and design decisions.
